Glaieul

Chi Chi Lay thanks or get an application (botanical name: Gladiolus, Glaieul transcribed from the French, from Latin form of mitigation: gladius – sword) is a genus of flowering quite popular referendum measures in many countries, is the brought to Western popular in Vietnam. Sadleria

Sadleria (Latin Sadleria) is a genus of ferns in Blechnaceae, which are included in the order Monophyletic Polypodiales. [A] family has six known species, many of them southern.

Ferns grow normally along the ground, and the young shoots often have a touch of red. The plants are 10-50 cm tall and has leaves that are in rosettformasjon from scratch. None of the species growing in Norway.

Platycodon

The platycodon (Platycodon grandiflorus) is a perennial herb of 20-100 cm from the Far East (Siberia, Korean Peninsula, Japan, North China), which blooms from July to October. Is the only species of the genus Platycodon.

The platycodon is widely cultivated as an ornamental. The buds swell into balloons before opening, hence the English name of “Balloon Flower”. It is the symbol of the Japanese cities of Ichinomiya and Isehara, Kanagawa.

During its long flowering, which is between late spring to summer (June-August), shows us her beauty with flowers 5 cm to 5 pentagonal strongly veined petals, also, its buds are globose to consider balloon whence the name given by the English.

This plant should be planted (sun or shade) in a drained soil, fresh, fairly wealthy, very calcareous, spring or fall and carefully choose the location because it does not like being moved. For propagation, seedlings (2-3 weeks for emergence), division in spring.

Maintenance Prune faded flowers, divide every 3-4 years, requires staking light. Crops very easy, but watch it starts late in the season so it is better to mark its location in the autumn to avoid damaging it during the spring work.
